Well, I’m back in Kenya now!

It was super easy to get a new visa.. yay.

As for Uganda, on Friday I went white water rafting on the NILE RIVER. It was as awesome as it sounds. We went over something like a dozen rapids, including a waterfall where the raft just nosedived [I’m quite bruised up!]… did a ton of paddling… got out and swam a few times… ate ~1/2 a pineapple for lunch.. flipped on the last two rapids [so much fun]… saw an eagle and some other really pretty birds… and then we ended at a campsite where there was a bbq and 2 Nile Special beers for each of us :)

More general comments about Uganda coming soon… It would have been nice to stay longer, but I had to get back - it’s Thanksgiving! I left Jinja at about 7am this morning, made it back to Busia around 11, and have mainly been cooking in between brief power outages since then..
